Cardi B has shared a grim update regarding her tumultuous relationship with Offset, painting a picture of alleged stalking and harassment during their divorce proceedings. During a live conversation on X Spaces on March 29th, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper revealed that her estranged husband had reportedly been haunting her with threatening messages, prompting her to reach out to Offset's current partner.
"This individual, upset over my texts to his girlfriend, showing him pleading and talking about taking his own life and mine – he was furious about it all," Cardi, 32, claimed about Offset, 33.
Moreover, Cardi alleged that Offset had also been harassing a rumored love interest of hers. "He even sent intimate videos of us to someone I was seeing. For two months, I've been dealing with this nonsense," she disclosed.
Cardi further recounted how Offset's harassment escalated whenever she traveled. "Every time I leave town, he pesters me, leaving voice notes intended to tear down my self-esteem. I'm so over it," she expressed, adding that she was exhausted from receiving his "explicit voicemails."
In a bizarre twist, Cardi claimed that Offset had even FaceTimed her with his new girlfriend, accusing her of harassment. "You've been harassment me and the man I've been seeing for months," Cardi said during the Spaces session. She concluded by asserting that Offset had also been targeting her friends with harassment.
Representatives for Offset did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.
This revelation marks another chapter in the rollercoaster relationship between Cardi and Offset. Earlier in January, Cardi accused Offset and his mother of stealing from her. "I ignored you after you and your mom robbed me blind," she alleged at the time. She also claimed that Offset neglected to buy gifts for their children at Christmas 2024, stating, "You called your daughter yesterday for the first time this year. You didn't buy them anything for Christmas on purpose to spite me."
The former couple, who tied the knot in 2017, share three children: daughter Kulture, aged 6½, son Wave, 3½, and a baby girl born in September 2024. Cardi filed for divorce from Offset for the second time in July 2024, after an initial filing in September 2020 that was later withdrawn.
In December, during another X Spaces conversation, Cardi had described their relationship as "peaceful." "We've been peaceful for over a week. We like the energy. We're not fighting. We're not really speaking. I think we're reaching a healthy co-parenting stage," she had said at the time.
