Cardi B is on the rise, so let's not try to bring her down. After the 33-year-old and her boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, celebrated Christmas separately—with their newborn baby boy spending the holiday with Cardi, while the Patriots player celebrated with two young children he has from other relationships—criticism began to surface online. In response to those raising an eyebrow, Cardi spoke up.
"Y'all need to calm down," she said in a video shared on X on Dec. 29. "Are you all cool? You've been dragging me for three or four days. You've become and have been a little bit too mean. I can't change anything, I can't go back in time. I already had a baby."

Emphasizing that she can't un-birth her and Stefon's baby, she continued, "I don't know what y'all want me to do. We can only go forward now." The "Up" rapper said she'll need fans to stand by her as she prepares to tour in 2026, explaining that her schedule will be demanding and she'll be away from her kids, including Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 14 months old, whom she shares with estranged husband Offset.
"I'm already super stressed out," she said. "I need my support system, my fans, to love me. I want you to come to my tour and enjoy yourself with me. Don't be dragging me. It's enough."
Nevertheless, Cardi still feels love for her fans. "I want good for y'all," she concluded. "I want health, money, prosperity, happiness for this new year for y'all—wish me the same thing. All right, leave me alone though."
But while Stefon may have been away from Cardi and their baby son physically, he was still on his mind. Reposting one of Cardi's photos in which she cradled their son, the 32-year-old wrote, "Miss yaw," adding alongside a winking emoji, "Don't be squeezing him too tight; you're making him soft."
Cardi's celebrations were full of presents, multiple Christmas trees—including one covered in footballs, a nod to Stefon—and a fruitless attempt to capture the perfect holiday photo with her kids. As Cardi jokingly captioned her Dec. 25 post, "The perfect Christmas picture doesn't exist in this house."
