On Friday, Bourbon Street witnessed a festive convergence of Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles enthusiasts, as Cardi B, co-founder of Whipshots, hosted a party brimming with excitement from a Fat Tuesday balcony. She rained down beads and cans of Whipshots, the vodka-infused whipped cream she helped create, amidst cheers and delight. Currently, Whipshots is celebrating "Cardi Gras" with the exclusive launch of its king cake-inspired flavor.
Cardi admitted that she was initially unfamiliar with king cake but, after tasting it, she knew it had to be included in Whipshots' diverse flavor palette. In addition to the king cake variant, Whipshots boasts five other decadent flavors, each packing a punch with 10% ABV: vanilla, peppermint, mocha, caramel, and pumpkin spice.
The Bronx rapper elevated the festivities by playfully squirting whipped cream into the eager crowd and even into her own mouth, as fans screamed in anticipation, begging her to toss them a token of joy. Hats, beads, and cans of Whipshots flew through the air, while a sea of Eagles green and Chiefs red stretched out, hands reaching skyward to catch whatever fortune fell their way.
Even employees from Barley Legal and neighboring establishments couldn't resist the allure and spilled out onto their balconies to partake in the revelry. Whipshots served as the perfect topping for beverages at all Fat Tuesday venues, adding an extra layer of fun and flair to the celebration.
