Joining forces with her mom Carnie and aunt Wendy Wilson – two-thirds of the legendary trio Wilson Phillips – Bonfiglio delivered a harmonious rendition of the band's iconic hit "Hold On," with Carnie and Wendy providing the signature backing vocals while Lola handled the lead melody. Her father, Rob Bonfiglio, added a touching guitar accompaniment to the heartfelt performance. Notably absent was Chynna Phillips, completing Wilson Phillips' trio.

The "Idol" panel comprising Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie was taken aback when Carnie and Wendy Wilson graced the audition room. Underwood, particularly star-struck, couldn't resist lip-syncing along to "Hold On," immersing herself in the nostalgic charm of the moment.

Bonfiglio further showcased her versatility with a solo performance of Kacey Musgraves' "Rainbow." As her family stood by, Carnie Wilson couldn't help but shed tears of pride, dabbing her eyes with a tissue while watching her daughter shine. Post-audition, the judges, along with some crew members, broke into a spontaneous rendition of "Hold On" in the audition room, celebrating Bonfiglio's triumph.
