Charlize Theron spared no punches when voicing her opinion on Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's opulent Venice wedding. Speaking at the fifth annual Block Party for the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project on Saturday, the Academy Award-winning actress made her disdain for the $50 million bash unmistakable.

On stage at the event, held amidst the bustling Universal Studios backlot in Los Angeles, Theron quipped, "I think we might just be the only souls who didn't receive an invite to the Bezos wedding." With impeccable comedic timing, she added, "But hey, it's all good because they're not exactly our cup of tea, whereas we're totally awesome," as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Her remarks elicited hearty laughs from the audience, but Theron swiftly transitioned to a more poignant note, tackling issues close to her heart.

"Thank you for lending your time to this cause, especially when the world seems to be blazing with turmoil, because it truly is," she addressed the gathering. "Here in Los Angeles, across the United States, and around the globe, we're regressing at an alarming pace. Immigration policies are shattering families, not criminals; women's rights are dwindling by the day; queer and trans lives are increasingly marginalized; and gender-based violence is spiraling upwards," she continued passionately.

"This isn't just about policies; it's deeply personal," she emphasized, as applause erupted among the attendees. "Yeah, f–k them," she added, to more rounds of applause.

While Theron might have missed out on the guest list, numerous celebrities were in attendance at the high-profile wedding, which stretched over three days in Venice. Stars such as Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Brady, Orlando Bloom, Usher, Ivanka Trump, and Sydney Sweeney graced the occasion.
