Children’s YouTuber Danny Go! Cancels Tour as Son Battles Stage 3 Cancer

Published: Feb 04 2026

On Tuesday, February 3, the beloved children's YouTube star Danny Go! announced that his upcoming tour had to be canceled due to his eldest son's battle with cancer. In a heartfelt post on Instagram, he shared, "As some of you may know, my oldest son Isaac was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer this past month. As a result, we've made the difficult decision to cancel our tour plans for 2026."

Danny Go!, whose real name is Daniel Coleman, continued, "Dancing with so many of you in person over the last 18 months has been a true joy, and we hope to get another tour rolling when the time is right." He expressed his love for what he and his team do and thanked his viewers for their support.

The beloved performer, who has amassed a YouTube following of more than 4 million, first announced his son's devastating diagnosis in December with a "family update." In the announcement, he wrote, "I don't do much personal sharing anymore as the kids show has grown, just to protect our peace a little bit. But we do have some big news related to Isaac and wanted to share it with those who have followed him over the last 14 years."

Isaac was diagnosed at birth with Fanconi Anemia, a "rare inherited condition that affects your bone marrow and many other parts of your body," according to the Cleveland Clinic. Danny shared that they found out last week that Isaac had cancer in his mouth. He wrote, "TBH, we always knew this day was coming, as it's a near certainty with Fanconi anemia. But it's definitely hitting a little earlier than we hoped and is still just such a shocking thing to hear about your child, even if you've braced for it for years."

Doctors will try to "remove the cancer surgically," but they are "not sure yet how much it's spread." In addition to the cancer, doctors discovered "brain spots forming that indicate potential degenerative nerve issues." Danny concluded by saying that they are taking it one step at a time and addressing the cancer aggressively.

During Isaac's January 7 surgery, doctors discovered that the "cancer had spread further than the scans indicated." Danny shared on Monday, February 2, "We've learned a bit more and it hasn't been good news. He's officially stage 3, although the docs said he's right on the edge of stage 4 because of the speed and aggression of the spread. So even though the visible cancer has been removed, there's a very high chance that it's still present microscopically, and we'll have a tough decision to make soon."
