Chloë Grace Moretz has officially embarked on a new chapter as Mrs. Kate Harrison. The Kick-Ass star tied the knot with her partner of seven years, Kate Harrison, in an intimate ceremony over the Labor Day Weekend, as they confirmed to Vogue on September 1. Although pictures from their wedding haven't been unveiled yet, Chloë and Kate, who announced their engagement in January, did share sneak peeks of their breathtaking custom Louis Vuitton outfits designed by Nicolas Ghesquière in anticipation of the big day.
"The moment we got engaged, I knew I wanted to reach out to Nicolas and Louis Vuitton to see if he'd be interested in crafting my wedding dress," Chloë revealed in a Vogue video published on September 1. "Nicolas responded with overwhelming excitement, not only agreeing to design my dress but also eager to include Kate and create both our wedding gowns and after-party looks."
The results exceeded her wildest dreams. For her walk down the aisle, the 28-year-old actress opted for an "old Hollywood-inspired" baby blue wedding dress adorned with ruffle details and spaghetti straps. "It looks like ice cream or something," she gushed about the unique hue. "Like a sweet confection!"
Meanwhile, Kate, the model, stuck to classic elegance with a strapless, form-fitting white gown embellished with floral stitching for the ceremony. For the after-party, she donned a floor-length, see-through white tunic paired with matching trousers, completing her ethereal ensemble with a mesh veil cascading just below her eyes. "It's perfect," she raved about her after-party attire. "I've always adored sheer overlays, and when I mentioned it to Nicolas, he eagerly agreed to create it for my after-party look."
Their outfits were merely a fraction of the couple's celebration of their shared passions. Chloë disclosed that the decor for their two-day affair paid homage to their favorite hobbies. "A significant aspect of our wedding is sharing the things Kate and I love with everyone who attends," she elaborated. "There's fishing, horseback riding, and poker. Kate even crafted a custom poker mat herself, so we'll fully embrace these themes. Our second day will feature line dancing and all sorts of fun."
She further added, "We've been together for nearly seven years, and making this promise to each other in a fresh way, exchanging these vows—I believe it's crucial to continue choosing each other every single day."
