Stepping into the daily drama, Stause will play the glamorous and successful businesswoman Yasmine "Yas" Shields, who's on the hunt for an exciting new opportunity. Filming is set to commence in July in Australia, marking a thrilling new chapter for the actress.

"I am honored and excited to join such a beloved and iconic show!" Stause gushed in a statement. "Coming from the world of soaps in the U.S., it's a dream come true to reprise my first love in the entertainment industry. When they pitched me the idea for this character, I was immediately captivated and eager to bring her to life. Ramsay Street, here I come!"

Jason Herbison, executive producer of Neighbours, added, "We are thrilled to welcome Chrishell to our cast. We've created a unique character specifically for her, and we can't wait to see her breathe life into the storyline. Expect a riveting tale filled with intrigue, surprises, and profound implications for the residents of Ramsay Street."

While Stause is widely recognized for her prowess in selling multimillion-dollar mansions on Netflix's reality series Selling Sunset, her acting roots run deep. She kicked off her career starring in daytime soaps like All My Children, The Young and the Restless, and Days of Our Lives. Her exceptional performance even garnered a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Guest Performance in a Drama Series in 2020. Her other notable credits include Netflix's Staged Killer and Lifetime's A Rose for Her Grave: The Randy Roth Story and You're Not Supposed to be Here. In 2022, she also published a memoir titled Under Construction: Because Living My Best Life Took a Little Work.

Neighbours, on the other hand, is a long-running Australian drama that chronicles the lives, loves, and challenges faced by the residents of Ramsay Street in Erinsborough, a fictitious suburb of Melbourne. The show has launched the careers of numerous stars, including Margot Robbie, Kylie Minogue, Guy Pearce, and Russell Crowe. With new episodes released weekly on Amazon Freevee, Neighbours continues to captivate audiences with its engaging storylines and captivating characters.
