Christina Aguilera recently sparked controversy in Mexico City following her concert, leaving a bitter taste in the mouths of the crowd. The 45-year-old singer performed a one-off concert in the city but ended up disappointing her fans when she addressed them as "New Mexico" instead of the actual Latin American country.

Fans also expressed their dissatisfaction with the show, which was advertised as a two-hour event but lasted only 55 minutes. Many complained that the concert was too short and that Christina was late to take the stage.
One fan wrote on social media, "I was there, it was the worst show ever." Another commented, "I liked her, but she gave Mexico a half-hearted, low-cost show."
The stage production was also criticized, with plastic tarps draped over the equipment to protect it from the rain. A disgruntled concertgoer wrote, "The show was extremely short. It didn't even last an hour, including interludes. She took the stage over an hour late for a 55-minute show. Many songs were shortened, the stage production was lackluster, the lighting was terrible, and she even mentioned New Mexico (the US state) instead of Mexico."
Additionally, Christina missed some of her biggest hits from her playlist, including "Candyman" and "Come On Over."
However, Christina Aguilera is still scheduled to perform in Costa Rica this weekend and then in Abu Dhabi in April. Her next performance is set for Costa Rica this weekend and Abu Dhabi in April.
