Cindyana Santangelo, a renowned model and actress best remembered for her captivating role in the television series "Married with Children," has passed away at the age of 58. A press release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department revealed that emergency responders were dispatched to an urgent medical situation in Malibu, California, at approximately 7:15 pm on March 24th. The female patient, later identified as Santangelo by TMZ, was promptly transported to a nearby hospital but regrettably, was pronounced deceased upon arrival.
The exact cause of Santangelo's demise remains a mystery, pending the results of an autopsy. The Sheriff’s Department's homicide investigators have taken an active role in the investigation, as is customary when the cause of death is unclear, according to the advisory.
TMZ, who broke the news of Santangelo's passing, further reported that the actress had recently undergone cosmetic injections at her residence.
In 1989, Santangelo showcased her dance prowess in the music video for Young MC's "Bust a Move." A year thereafter, her voice graced the opening of Jane's Addiction's hit song "Stop." The band's frontman, Perry Farrell, even hailed her as "the Latin Marilyn Monroe" in Spin Magazine.
She also etched her name in television history with her memorable portrayal of Sierra Madre, a dancer at The Jiggly Room, in "Married with Children." Santangelo's acting credits also span appearances on "CSI: Miami," "ER," and alongside Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett in the 2003 action-comedy "Hollywood Homicide."
Just last month, the late star celebrated her son Dante's 20th birthday with a heartwarming Instagram post. Alongside a picture, she penned: "These two Goonies mean the world to me. Such amazing, sweet, intelligent, and gorgeous young men."
