Laura Clery reminisced about the "most terrifying night" of her life after enduring a near-death experience. The comedian candidly shared that her "greatest fear had come true" when she was "extremely injured and trapped alone at home with her two young children," as revealed in an Instagram video.
At 39, Clery praised God and expressed gratitude to the first responders who saved her life after a 600-pound fridge fell and pinned her against the counter. The comedian recounted being in the midst of getting ready for bed when the massive fridge "crashed into me and pinned me against the counter."

"I couldn't move. I couldn't breathe properly," she wrote on social media. "It was impossible to escape, and I could feel myself losing consciousness. My children were in the house, and I truly didn't know if I would survive."
"Thank God my phone was in my pocket, allowing me to call 911. Thank God it didn't fall on my kids," she continued. "Three firefighters had to lift it off me. I'm still shaking."
Clery shared clips from the rescue, showing firefighters carrying her out of the house and into an ambulance. From the back of the ambulance, she praised the first responders while wearing a neck brace and noting that she had been "crushed" by a massive fridge.
"This happened right after the fentanyl hit, and all my pain disappeared instantly," she wrote. "I just want to say thank you to these amazing firefighters who saved my life! Really."
She further added, "They arrived so quickly, broke through my garage door, and three of them pushed a 600-pound fridge off of me and safely got me to the trauma unit before things got worse."
Clery concluded by expressing her profound gratitude, stating, "I keep thinking about how differently this could have gone. I'm so lucky! No broken bones, my kids are okay and safe, I can walk... They were calm, kind, and handled everything like absolute heroes!"
