Despite not explicitly mentioning the possibility of relinquishing his surname, Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has made it unequivocally clear that he has no intention of reconciling with his family. "I am not willing to reconcile with my family. For the first time in my life, I am standing up for myself," the eldest son of the Beckham family declared in a statement shared on social media.

Reflecting on his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn stated, "Throughout my entire life, my parents have controlled the narratives in the press about our family." The 26-year-old further alleged that his mother, Victoria, pulled out of designing his wife Nicola Peltz's wedding dress at the "eleventh hour."

For those who may not be aware, Brooklyn has already adopted Nicola's last name, Peltz. Given the model's accusations against his family, it wouldn't be surprising if he decides to drop the Beckham surname.

Speaking to HELLO! magazine, Simarjot Singh Judge, a solicitor and founder of Judge Law, elaborated on how easy it would be for Brooklyn to change his name. "In England and Wales, an adult can change their surname at any time through a deed poll," he explained. "Brooklyn would not require parental consent to do so, and the process itself is legally straightforward."

Simarjot further added, "Changing your legal name doesn't undo agreements or remove existing associations. If someone is publicly known under a particular name, that link doesn't disappear simply because the surname changes."
