Cristiano Ronaldo boasts the perfect life companion, and his journey with his fiancée, Georgina Rodríguez, has been a testament to the strength of their partnership. The soccer superstar recently opened up about how they supported each other during the heartbreaking loss of their baby boy, Angel, who was the twin of their now three-year-old daughter, Bella, in 2022. The tragedy, though devastating, only served to cement their bond even further.
"I feel that we always support each other," Cristiano shared during an appearance on Piers Morgan's Piers Morgan Uncensored on November 4th. "Sometimes in a relationship, you have good moments and bad moments. It's all part of the journey. But probably during that period, we consolidated our relationship even more."
The 40-year-old also reflected on the universal truth that every relationship must learn to navigate the highs and lows. "Try to find a balance for everything," he added. "In the good moments, in the bad moments—return to the basic points, a baseline."
Despite the heartache, Cristiano, who is also a father to twins Eva Maria and Mateo, 8, as well as daughter Alana, 7, with Georgina, and a 15-year-old son Cristiano Jr., affirmed that the period in his life was also filled with valuable lessons. "It was nice and honest because I learned so many things," he said. "I saw all other perspectives of life. My three-year-old daughter is now the queen of the family. She's the one who makes the house happy."
He continued, "Everything happened for a reason. I believe that. So, we are a blessed family. I'm proud of that." For Georgina, to whom Cristiano proposed in August after eight years together, the Al-Nassr player knows he's found his soulmate. "She has so many good things that I love," he said. "I believe she's unique in that way—she takes care of me, which is very important. She takes care of the family, she takes care of the house which is a lot of work."
He added with a hint of emotion in his voice, "She's special to me because a part of her qualities—her beautiful body and everything I like—she's a person who understands me. This is what I'm looking for."
