Dakota Johnson, renowned for her role in "Fifty Shades of Grey," has hogged the limelight for days following her split from her long-time partner, Chris Martin, the frontman of Coldplay. Their romance, which blossomed in 2017, reportedly culminated in a secret engagement in 2020, but unfortunately, it couldn't withstand the test of time.

Amidst the turmoil in her personal life, the 35-year-old actress also faced an uncertain start to her career. For instance, her film "Madame Web," co-starring Sydney Sweeney and Isabel Merced, flopped miserably and garnered overwhelming criticism.

Addressing the matter, the star of "Materialists" confessed that she shouldn't bear the brunt of the film's failure. In a statement to the Los Angeles Times Newspaper, Dakota said, "There's this prevalent trend now where numerous creative decisions are made by committee, or worse, by individuals devoid of any creative spark. Crafting art, or something entertaining, in such an environment is incredibly challenging."

The actress, who also starred in "The Social Network," further elaborated that "Madame Web" deviated significantly from its original concept. The 2024 action sci-fi film, directed by S.J. Clarkson and backed by Sony Pictures, evolved into something entirely different from its inception.
