Dakota Johnson and Role Model are living their best Hollywood lives! The "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress and "Sally, When the Wine Runs Out" singer have been proving that their romance is still as strong as ever. They were spotted leaving Paul McCartney's farewell tour at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles on March 28.
The star-studded event was also attended by Taylor Swift, Margot Robbie, and other celebrities. Dakota, 36, opted for a comfortable long black silk dress, while Role Model, 28, chose a black t-shirt and jeans. The duo first sparked romance rumors in December when they were seen getting cozy during a night out with friends. They seemingly confirmed their romance in January with a date night in L.A., enjoying dinner at Saffy's and leaving hand-in-hand.
The couple's most recent date night comes almost nine months after it was confirmed that Dakota and her longtime partner Chris Martin had split. The two had first sparked relationship speculation in 2017 and privately gotten engaged in 2024. Not long after their breakup, Dakota reflected on the type of partner she was searching for, telling Craig Melvin on "Today" in June, "Just like, not an asshole."
Role Model, meanwhile, had previously dated Emma Chamberlain before the two split in 2023 after three years together. He explained the reason for their split on the "Zach Sang Show" in 2024, saying he was looking to return to his native state of Maine. "That was the biggest thing—I just became the most homesick I've been in my life," he shared. "I was having this weird quarter-life crisis type of thing where I was just questioning everything in my life."
"I was going home a lot and creating space and leaving L.A. a lot and not really having a reason why to tell that person," he recalled. "I just wanted to go home and be with my friends and family and have some normalcy. I think that would be very confusing for the other person. Like, 'Why are you running away from me?'"
