Danielle Fishel is poised to conquer the world, her spirit soaring after successfully navigating her final breast cancer treatments. The 44-year-old actress, who was diagnosed with high-grade ductal carcinoma in situ—a very early or "stage zero" form of breast cancer—in 2024, shared her remarkable recovery with iHeartRadio's KIIS FM Jingle Ball on December 5th.
"I'm great," she beamed to the crowd. "You know, even after cancer, you still have your regular doctor's appointments. I just had a recent check-up with my oncologist, and everything is good."
The Boy Meets World star feels especially grateful for her positive outcome due to early detection. "I'm in a really good headspace, and I'm so thankful for my health and my family," she added. "I have so much to be grateful for, especially this year."

Fresh off her stint on Dancing With the Stars, Danielle reported that her medical results were "all clear," and her next mammogram won't be due until June. After sharing her diagnosis in August 2024, Danielle detailed the process of undergoing two procedures to remove the cancer.
"On August 13th, I had my first surgery," she recalled to E! News in October 2024. "They went in, removed a mass, but the pathology showed they weren't thrilled with one margin. The medial margin had cancer a little too close for comfort."
A month later, she underwent a second procedure, ensuring "there was no more evidence of cancer and all clear margins." While she mentioned there would be more aspects to her treatment plan following the lumpectomy, she declared at the time, "Surgically, I am now done."
By January, Danielle had officially completed 20 rounds of radiation, which she explained on the Pod Meets World podcast meant she was "officially done with what is considered active cancer treatment." "It will significantly lower my chances of recurrence," she explained, "which is always good news."
The experience served as a wake-up call for Danielle, making her realize she needed to embrace more "fun" in life rather than simply going through the motions. This realization ultimately led her to accept the Dancing With the Stars offer. "The minute I was done with my cancer treatment, I thought to myself, 'If this has shown me anything, it has shown me that I am not experiencing enough joy in my life,'" Danielle told People in September. "When they asked me to do this, I was like, 'This is the perfect way to cap it off.'"
