Dave Grohl and Wife Jordyn Blum Make Rare Appearance at Pre-Grammys Gala More Than 1 Year After Affair Scandal

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, put on a united front at the 2026 pre-Grammys party, more than a year after his infidelity scandal. Grohl, 57, looked sharp in a black suit paired with a coordinating turtleneck and a pair of clear glasses as he walked the red carpet at Clive Davis' Pre-Grammy Gala and Salute to Industry Icons Honoring Avery Lipman and Monte Lipman in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 31.

Grohl was joined by his wife, Blum, 49, who stunned in an emerald, one-shoulder gown with a dramatic leg slit. She completed her look with diamond drop earrings and a bright red lip, her blonde tresses styled in a sleek bun. The couple made the red carpet a family affair, as they were joined by their 19-year-old daughter, Violet, who rocked a red, corset-style blazer with a matching maxi skirt for the occasion.

Grohl and Blum also shared two younger daughters and stepped out at the 2026 MusiCares Person of the Year ceremony one day earlier on Friday, January 30. After posing on the red carpet together, Grohl performed with Taylor Momsen in honor of Mariah Carey's award.

The Grammy winner and his wife made headlines almost two years earlier when Grohl revealed that he welcomed a baby outside of his marriage. "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage," Grohl said in a September 2024 social media statement. "I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children."

He concluded, "I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward."

While Blum never publicly addressed Grohl's infidelity, she ultimately forgave him. "Jordyn has forgiven Dave and is trying to move on," a source exclusively told Us Weekly in March 2025. "She is [still] completely devastated by the situation but is standing by his side."

According to an insider, Grohl and Blum had recommitted to their relationship and family. "They are going to counseling, and Dave has been doing anything he can to win back Jordyn's trust," the source added at the time. "Neither of them wants the family broken."

A second insider further told Us in April 2025 that Grohl regretted hurting his loved ones. "Dave is regretful and ashamed of his actions," the second source told Us last year. "He knows he let his family down. He's really working on his marriage to Jordyn and wants this to be a new chapter for them."

Grohl has also financially supported the mother of his fourth child. "Dave is paying for [her] and the baby's living and medical expenses, and is helping with anything [they need]," the second insider said, claiming Grohl met her in Washington, D.C. in 2021 when he was in town promoting his book The Storyteller. "They had chemistry."

While the second source claimed Grohl and the woman - who he has not publicly identified - were dating on and off for years, they are no longer an item.

Grohl and Blum started dating in 2001 and tied the knot two years later. "Some bombshell comes up and starts talking to [my bandmate] Taylor [Hawkins]. I was just out of a Tenacious D session," Grohl recalled to Q Magazine in 2007 of how he met his now-wife. "I was like, 'Oh my God. Not a chance!' So I'm just having some drinks and acting like a jackass. And by the end of the night, I was pissed and I'm staring at her going, 'You're my future ex-wife.' So she gave me her number: 'Jordyn, your future ex-wife.'"

Grohl was previously married to Jennifer Leigh Youngblood from 1994 to 1997.
