DDG is hurling a grave accusation against his ex-partner, Halle Bailey, and the crux of the matter revolves around their shared child. The rapper, whose real name is Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., recently lambasted Halle, alleging that he has been denied access to their son, Halo.
DDG first brought this alleged predicament to light on Friday, posting on X, "Been battling to see my son for months now… shoutout to all the dads who strive their utmost to be present. This stuff truly sucks." He subsequently deleted the post from his account.
Shortly thereafter, DDG joined a live stream, explaining that he had initially attempted to address the issue discreetly but was now overcome with frustration and needed to vent publicly. "I genuinely feel like I'm bloody well a nanny at this point. The nanny has been able to spend more time with my son than I have, and I don't even know the nanny's name. It's just plain unfair, bro. So, I have to come here and do this," DDG lamented to the viewers.
Taking legal action against Halle is a very real possibility, DDG added, noting that he has been meticulously keeping track of the days he has gone without seeing his son. According to DDG, whenever he and Halle are not on "impeccable terms," she uses co-parenting as a lever.
During happier times, the couple had celebrated Halo's first birthday in December, mere months after their breakup in October. We have reached out to Halle for her perspective, but as of yet, we have received no response.
