Denise Richards has been granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, following grave accusations of domestic violence leveled against him. Court documents, obtained exclusively by Fox News Digital, reveal a heart-wrenching narrative detailed by the 54-year-old actress, as she seeks a temporary restraining order against her 49-year-old spouse, painting a picture of alleged abuse that has marred their marriage.
"Throughout our tumultuous relationship," Richards alleges in the July 16 filing, "Aaron frequently resorted to violent choking, clamping his hands around my head with brutal force, squeezing my arms tightly, slapping my face and head with relentless aggression, and even slamming my head against the bathroom towel rack. He threatened my life, pinning me down with his knee on my back until I begged him to release me, fearing for my survival. Furthermore, he hacked into my laptop and phone, downloading all my text messages."
"Aaron's promises to 'break my jaw' were all too common, punctuated by tears and pleas for me to stay, vowing to seek help—promises that were never kept. His actions have left me with at least three concussions," she continues.
"Fear has kept me silent until now," Richards confesses. "Aaron's repeated threats of suicide and murder if I reported him to the authorities silenced me. He warned that I might 'disappear' if I dared to call the police."
Richards claims that the most recent incidents of assault occurred between July 4th and 14th. "Aaron's behavior terrified me to the extent that I genuinely feared for my life, as had been the case in nearly all his abusive episodes," she asserts.
A representative for Richards did not promptly respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.
Earlier this month, on July 7th, Phypers initiated divorce proceedings after six years of marriage, citing July 4th as their separation date. The couple, who wed in 2018, does not share any children. Richards is the mother of Sami, 20, and Lola, 19, from her previous marriage to Charlie Sheen, and adopted her youngest daughter, Eloise, 13, following her divorce from Sheen in 2011.
In his divorce filing, Phypers cites irreconcilable differences and seeks spousal support from Richards, claiming that her monthly earnings exceed $250,000 from her OnlyFans account, reality TV appearances, and brand collaborations. He alleges that his business has ceased operations, leaving him without income for the past year.
Phypers further contends that their monthly expenditures amount to approximately $105,000, allocating $20,000 to clothing, $18,000 to rent, $10,000 to groceries, $8,000 to utilities, $15,000 to dining out, and $15,000 to entertainment.
