The dissolution of Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers' marriage has unveiled a glimpse into their financial world. Following the July 7 divorce filing by the "Wild Things" actress's spouse of six years, court documents obtained by E! News have shed light on her earnings as both an actress and a model. According to the legal papers submitted in Los Angeles, Denise boasts an impressive average monthly income of $250,000, whereas her monthly expenditures, encompassing rent, utilities, childcare, groceries, and more, sum up to roughly $105,000.
Meanwhile, Aaron, who shares an adopted daughter Eloise, 14, with the "Starship Troopers" star, asserts in the documents that he has not generated any income since shuttering his business last year. As for the reason behind their separation, which officially commenced on July 4, Aaron cited "irreconcilable differences" and has requested spousal support from the court.
Just three months earlier, Denise's eldest daughter, Sami Sheen, whom she shares custody with her ex-husband Charlie Sheen, alongside her 20-year-old sister Lola Sheen, had subtly alluded to the tense undercurrents within their blended family's dynamics. During an April installment of the podcast "Casual Chaos with Gia Giudice," the 21-year-old Sami uncovered, "We're hardly close. We never spend time together or engage in conversation." Despite this, Sami remained steadfast in her support for her mother's relationship, affirming, "He brings her joy."
On her part, the former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star had expressed her contentment in the relationship just a month before. Speaking to Bravo's "The Daily Dish" in March, Denise gushed, "We like being with each other. He's my best friend, too, and we just really enjoy each other's company."
While she offered insights into navigating the complexities of a blended family on the Bravo show "Denise Richards & Her Wild Things," the 54-year-old emphasized the significance of quality time in sustaining a healthy relationship. She explained, "I tell every couple, especially with kids, if you could just dedicate one night a month to a staycation, where you can unwind and be with just each other, I think that helps tremendously in marriages or relationships involving children." She further added, "It's wonderful to have that special time together, filled with romance and reconnection. That's something we've always excelled at."
