Janice Combs, the mother of Sean "Diddy" Combs, has publicly rebuked the allegations made in Netflix's new docuseries, "Sean Combs: The Reckoning," with a statement that denounces the streaming platform for spreading misinformation and falsehoods about her family. In her words, the four-part series is rife with "lies" and "inaccuracies" concerning Diddy's life.

"I am writing this statement to correct some of the lies presented in the Netflix docuseries, 'Sean Combs: The Reckoning,'" she wrote. "These inaccuracies regarding my son Sean's upbringing and family life are deliberately crafted to mislead viewers and further tarnish our reputation."
Janice further elaborated in her statement, saying that the allegations made by Mr. Kirk Burrows that her son slapped her during a conversation after the tragic events at City College on December 28, 1991, are "inaccurate and patently false." She added, "That was a very sad day for all of us... For him to use this tragedy and incorporate fake narratives to further his prior failed and current attempt to gain what was never his—Bad Boy Records—is wrong, outrageous, and past offensive."
In conclusion, Diddy's mother requested that these distortions, falsehoods, and misleading statements be publicly retracted. The docuseries, "Sean Combs: The Reckoning," was released on Netflix on December 2, following the music mogul's conviction on two prostitution-related charges.
