Doja Cat aspires to paint the town red, unencumbered by the constraints of her music career. After the release of her latest album, "Vie" last September, the 30-year-old has been contemplating an extended hiatus from the music scene once she completes the deluxe tracks and her tour. "I think I want to take a three-year break," she candidly shared with Elle in an interview on May 14. "I just want to do whatever takes my fancy."

When asked about her plans for this hiatus, the "Kiss Me More" artist—whose real name is Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini—had a few ideas in mind. "I might do another mural. I'm going to furnish the entire upper area of my house because it's literally bare and has been for four or five years. That's quite peculiar," she shared.
Meanwhile, Doja has been keeping busy performing on her "Tour Ma Vie World Tour," which kicked off last November. Taking a brief break from the road, she graced the Met Gala this year, donning a Grecian-inspired, nude silicone gown from Saint Laurent along with a blonde new 'do. And with several tour dates still left, including the European leg beginning on May 19 in Dublin, Ireland, the "Say So" singer doesn't seem to mind. In fact, she has a bit of a fondness for England.
"One of my favorite places to perform is London," she told Elle. "I feel like it's a really good crowd and people know how to engage and enjoy. Nobody feels self-conscious, and it just seems to be a really enthusiastic crowd."
Despite the exhausting nature of touring, the "Need to Know" rapper revealed that she does enjoy one aspect: fashion. "I really put my all into each look every night," she elaborated. "I like to think about the hair and makeup, marry them together, be poetic and meaningful, and do something personal to each location."
