Doja Cat ignited a resounding call for justice at this year's Global Citizen Festival, her commanding presence on the main stage on Saturday, September 28th, punctuated by a heartfelt address that resonated deeply. Amidst the beats and rhymes, she paused to shine a light on the injustices plaguing the globe.

"In this very moment, countless souls—men, women, and children—in Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, the Congo, and countless other corners of the world, are enduring untold suffering. It's amidst such trials that we must remember: we wield the power to be the beacon of change, love, light, and hope for those who find themselves in the darkest hours," Doja passionately proclaimed to the vast sea of people gathered on the Great Lawn of Central Park, New York.

"I stand united with Global Citizen in our mission to lend a helping hand to those in the throes of conflict and crisis. And I know many of you, who earned your way here through acts of compassion and dedication, stand with me. But our journey does not end here," she continued, her voice filled with urgency. "Let us continue to raise our voices, ensuring those fleeing violence receive the vital necessities of food, shelter, and education—the bare essentials they so desperately need and deserve. There lies a profound strength in each one of you, watching and choosing to be a part of this moment. Now is our time to channel that strength into what truly matters—preserving life itself."

Amidst her Global Citizen Fest performance, Doja Cat deftly navigated whispers of her potential engagement to actor Joseph Quinn. As she belted out her Billboard Hot 100 smash hit "Agora Hills," she subtly quipped, "I'm not married," her words muffled by the descending microphone, addressing the rumors head-on. Earlier, during a performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, the "Paint the Town Red" rapper sported a ring on her left hand, sparking speculation about her romantic status with the Stranger Things star. Swiftly, she clarified, albeit fleetingly, on her X (formerly Twitter) account: "No, I'm not engaged. It's just a David Yurman ring, sans diamonds."

The festival, presided over by Global Citizen Ambassador Hugh Jackman, was a symphony of compassion and action, with co-headliners Post Malone, Jelly Roll, and Rauw Alejandro adding vibrant hues to the evening. Global Citizen, a trailblazer in the fight against extreme poverty, once again offered fans the opportunity to earn free tickets by taking tangible steps on the Global Citizen app or their website, united in the quest to eradicate poverty, safeguard our planet, and demand equity.

Beyond the exhilarating live performances, the concert was graced by the presence of UN Messenger of Peace, Jane Goodall—founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and a pioneering primatologist—and Chris Martin of Coldplay, who donned the role of curator, infusing the event with a sense of purpose and hope.
