This global sensation, who has previously received accolades for his consecutive hits such as "Azizam" and "Old Phone," is overjoyed to introduce his eagerly anticipated new single, "Sapphire."
The "Shape of You" crooner couldn't conceal his enthusiasm for his latest track, boldly declaring it as his favorite song on the album so far. He shared, "Sapphire was the initial masterpiece I completed for Play, and it was the spark that illuminated the album's direction. This is why I chose to conclude the recording process in Goa, surrounded by some of India's finest musicians. The creative journey was nothing short of breathtaking."
Furthermore, Sheeran heaped praise on his collaboration with Indian vocalist Arijit Singh, raving about the Punjabi rendition of the song. The video for the new tune stars Singh and boasts an iconic guest appearance by actor Shah Rukh Khan, accompanied by visuals of Sheeran serenading from a rooftop.
