Emilie Kiser isn't shying away from her emotions, painting a vivid picture of her journey through the complex tapestry of feelings that have emerged since the tragic drowning death of her son, Trigg Kiser, in their family pool five months ago. The TikTok influencer, who also shares her six-month-old son, Theodore Kiser, with Brady, shared an intimate glimpse into how she's navigating these emotions in a heartfelt post on her Instagram Stories on October 24th.
"I just stepped out of a two-hour counseling session – the longest I've ever done – and it was heavy, but also incredibly helpful," she wrote. "We discussed so many things, but one of them was the overall range of emotions and the guilt that sometimes comes with them."

The 26-year-old mother explained that one of the hardest parts of dealing with loss, aside from the loss itself, is allowing oneself to feel happy again. "Allowing yourself to not have an emotion about every emotion," she continued. "Just having that emotion – whether it's sad, happy, angry, guilty, shame, hurt – and really sitting with it and being okay with it."
Emilie offered a poignant message to those navigating similar difficult circumstances, adding, "Sending love to anyone going through similar battles right now." And her words are not empty sentiments; she previously discussed how the support she's received online has helped her cope with Trigg's tragic death.
"I have been truly blown away by the love, comfort, and support," Emilie wrote in another Instagram Stories post in September. "I appreciate so many of you sharing your similar experiences and your own stories of how you have dealt with grief and loss."
She continued, "The internet can be such a dark place, and in moments like this, I am reminded how much good there can be in the support and community that we can all give each other."
