Barbie Ferreira soared her way onto the runway during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on October 15 in New York City, debuting for the lifestyle PINK brand in a fiery red balconette bra and boyshorts, accessorized with a matching lanyard around her neck. She strutted in an oversized denim jacket adorned with stuffed wings, paired with matching denim heels, exuding confidence and style.
The 28-year-old actress, who left Euphoria in 2022 to pursue other projects, expressed her sheer excitement about the opportunity in an interview with People, saying, "That was just not in my head at all to walk a runway, period, especially the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which is the biggest show. I just remember being like, 'What?'" She added, "It took me a minute to process what that meant, because I just was not expecting that at all. And then I got so excited."
As she prepared for her runway debut, Barbie reflected on the unbelievable milestone. "It’s definitely a pinch me moment," she told Us Weekly backstage. "I kinda feel like I have entered a different dimension and I will go back to the regular dimension after the show. But if not, it’s super sick if this is the real dimension."
While Barbie loves modeling, she's not abandoning her acting roots. "Modeling has always been fun for me. It’s nice to model, while being an actor is a little bit different," she said. "I’ve always been an actor. Even when I was modeling, I was doing a lot of video stuff. I think they go hand-in-hand, of course. But I love acting."
