Camila Cabello and Normani Kordei's camaraderie shines brightest when they're together, as evidenced by their mini Fifth Harmony reunion at the esteemed Vetements' Paris Fashion Week showcase. There, amidst the buzz of the front row, the duo was spotted indulging in heartfelt laughter, catching up on lost time.

On September 27th, Camila, 27, donned an unmissable ensemble that all but concealed her identity – a dazzling, black ski mask adorned with jewels, paired seamlessly with a lace-embellished bodysuit, a mini-skirt that hugged her curves, and a floor-sweeping coat to match. Meanwhile, Normani, 28, opted for an equally striking all-black attire, her sheer midi dress revealing her coordinated undergarments beneath, with sleek peep-toe heels rounding off her monochromatic charm.

This encounter, eight years in the making since Camila's departure from Fifth Harmony – a group also comprising Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui – in 2016, served as a testament to their enduring bond. The girl group released one album post-Camila's exit in 2017, before announcing an indefinite hiatus the following year. However, Camila and Normani's mutual admiration and support for each other's accomplishments have remained steadfast.

When Normani released her album 'Dopamine' in June, Camila showered her with praise on Instagram, penning, "Putting out a project is vulnerable and hard, and you're doing it beautifully. Congratulations on your first album and many more to come!!!!!!!!" Normani, deeply touched, responded with gratitude, "Thank you so much for this. This seriously means a lot, and I'm so proud of you. You're next, let's goooo!"

Reflecting on her decision to go solo, Camila, the "Havana" crooner, has shared that her yearning to pen her own tunes clashed with the group's direction at the time. "I remember waking up early on tour, retreating to my hotel room at 7 a.m., and immersing myself in songwriting with my garage band," she confided in a March interview with Call Her Daddy. "I wanted to create solo because my passion for writing had blossomed into a need to sing my own songs." Camila added, "I began to distance myself from the group's vision, realizing that their passions didn't align with mine anymore. I knew I had to move on."

As for Normani, the "Wild Side" artist, she's previously opened up about feeling like the underdog in Fifth Harmony, formed on X Factor in 2012. "I didn't get to truly shine vocally within the group. I felt overlooked," she candidly told Allure in 2021. "But that sense of being underestimated has fueled me, pushing me to claim my rightful place."

Despite the journey's twists and turns, Camila affirms that she and her former bandmates have arrived at a harmonious place. "We've been each other's support system through direct messages and more," she told Reuters in 2022. "I'm in a really good space with them now."
