In a revealing moment, Florence opened up about the stark contrast in her treatment before and after receiving an Oscar nomination and becoming a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The actress, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards in 2020 for her role in Greta Gerwig's "Little Women," shared that she keenly observed how the Hollywood industry received her after these significant milestones.

"It was as if I had stepped into an entirely new profession," she expressed. "Once those two things happened, it felt like I had crossed a threshold. Suddenly, everyone spoke to me differently." Speaking to Who What Wear, Pugh elaborated, "And it wasn't because my work had changed or what I could contribute had shifted."

The star of "Midsommar" felt that people began to approach her in an altogether different manner. "It was more like a shift in the way they perceived me – almost as if I no longer needed to justify my place. It was more like, 'No, no, we understand,'" she continued.

Currently, Florence is basking in the success of her latest Marvel film, which also stars Sebastian Stan and Lewis Pullman, further solidifying her status as a Hollywood heavyweight.
