Gordon Ramsay's heart overflows with glee as he reflects on his beloved daughter Holly Ramsay's recent nuptials. More than a year after announcing her engagement to Olympic swimming champion Adam Peaty, the couple tied the knot on December 27th, a moment the Kitchen Nightmares star couldn't contain his joy over on Instagram. "I am truly blessed," he wrote alongside a post featuring the father-daughter duo, "to walk this radiant bride down the aisle and gain an extraordinary son-in-law @adam_peaty! I love you so much @hollyramsayy and couldn't be more proud as a Dad xxx."
For the ceremony held at The Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in the UK, Holly donned a white satin full-length gown with a matching white veil, as captured in photos by People. Her dad kept it classy in a black tuxedo, paired with a white button-down shirt and black bow tie. Meanwhile, the groom teased his excitement for the big day with an Instagram Story featuring a photo of the sunrise, captioned, "Morning of our wedding."
Last September, Holly, whose mom is Tana Ramsay, shared her excitement about embarking on the next chapter of their lives together. "I am marrying my best friend," she wrote on September 12th alongside photos of her gold ring. "I still remember how big my smile was the morning I got home from my first date with you. Thank you for letting the little girl inside of me feel loved, seen, and happier than ever. I love you and I cannot wait to be your wife." The 25-year-old also had a heartfelt shoutout for Adam's 5-year-old son from a previous relationship, promising, "I promise to always be there for you and George. I'm so grateful to be in his life and I cannot wait for more."
Adam, who won gold at the 2016 Summer Olympics, echoed his happiness about their future. "I can't believe you're going to be my wife," he shared on his social media post of the engagement. "I'm truly the luckiest man on earth to have such a gentle, caring, and beautiful woman by my side. You fill my heart to the brim and give my soul peace." The 30-year-old continued, "You have been with me when I've been at my lowest and helped me understand myself to navigate my own darkness. You have also celebrated the highs which have been so many. For the first time in my life, I'm happy with the man I've become."
Indeed, not only is Adam overjoyed about his relationship with Holly but also about his newfound family. "Your family have always treated me so generously with their time, emotion, and trust," Adam added. "I can't wait to be joined with them too. I've always believed that when two people are engaged and later married, we are no longer two people but we join as one and it's the biggest privilege to share that with you."
