There's going to be one less lonely girl—and Hailey Bieber is making it a reality. A week after Billie Eilish joined Justin Bieber on stage for his "One Less Lonely Girl" performance at Coachella, the Rhode founder revealed it was all part of her plan.
"It was incredible," Hailey told Time at the Time100 Gala in New York on April 23rd. "We love Billie so much. We're head over heels in love with her. I just thought it would be so perfect to have that happen since they first met at Coachella."

Indeed, Billie—who has been a vocal Belieber for most of her life—first crossed paths with Justin during Ariana Grande's set at Coachella in 2019, where the "Bad Guy" singer fell to the ground in awe. And so, Hailey had been secretly thinking about Billie joining Justin on stage for his nostalgic set for months, but she kept it a secret from the Oscar winner.
"I thought it would be a really fun idea to see it come to life," Hailey mused. "Obviously, we told her in the moment, and she is the best sport and the best woman." The 29-year-old emphasized, "I couldn't love her more, truly."
Meanwhile, Billie couldn't have loved the moment more. The 24-year-old shared her reaction on Instagram alongside several throwback videos and photos of her fandom for Justin. In one image from Billie's April 23rd post, she proved she knew the most about Justin, writing down his exact time of birth, the hospital and room where he was born, and even the doctor who delivered him. In another, she included a screenshot of a birthday message she wrote to Justin in 2014.
"Today, the best singer and the best person in the world was born," Billie wrote. "Now words can explain how much I love you. If only you knew I existed. I have always been a Belieber and I always will be."
