Hailey Bieber has recently opened up about her future plans for the $1 billion fortune she's amassed from the sale of Rhode Skin. In an exclusive interview with WSJ. Magazine for their Innovators issue, the American model and entrepreneur revealed that the lion's share of the windfall is earmarked for her one-year-old son, Jack Blues, whom she shares with husband Justin Bieber.
"I'm determined to safeguard this for my son's future," declared the 28-year-old. As the founder of Rhode, she elaborated, "It's a sum of money that I've never had to manage before, so I'm committed to handling it with the utmost prudence." Hailey further shared with the publication, "My intention is to invest it wisely."
Elsewhere in the interview, the savvy businesswoman admitted to "testing" Rhode products on her pop-star husband. "I trial them on my husband; I trial them on my friends. I'm utterly obsessed with product development," Hailey remarked. When questioned about her motivation to launch her own beauty brand, the model emphasized, "I've lent my name out enough times to witness the benefits it brought to those companies. I knew beyond a doubt that if I embarked on this venture, I had to be the majority stakeholder."
Meanwhile, the model also shed light on her decision to keep Jack Blue's face off social media. "Until my child is old enough to comprehend and engage in a dialogue about it, I have absolutely no interest in exposing him to the public eye in any capacity," stated Justin's wife.
