A troubling incident marred Halsey's recent concert in Washington, D.C., igniting an online fury. On November 4, during her performance at The Anthem, a fan boldly groped the singer while she sang "Is There Somewhere." Footage of the incident, circulating online, captured the moment as a concertgoer's hand inched up Halsey's thigh beneath her leather skirt.

Despite the intrusion, Halsey appeared unaware of the inappropriate touch as a security guard swiftly intervened, swatting the hand away. The guard's timely action halted the contact, and Halsey continued her performance uninterrupted.
Fans were outraged by the fan's behavior, with one user posting, "I can't even believe I have to say this. Respect Halsey and DO NOT touch her or anyone like this without their consent." Others labeled the act "disgusting" and called for the fan to be banned from future shows. Comments under the video included "F**king gross" and "They should be banned."
Halsey, whose full name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, is currently on her Back to Badlands Tour, which kicked off in Los Angeles on October 14 and will conclude in Melbourne, Australia, on February 20. Following the Washington, D.C. show, she performed in Minneapolis on November 6 and Chicago on November 8.
Despite a "minor medical emergency" that hospitalized her in Boston during the tour, Halsey revealed on Instagram that she is now "A-Okay" and ready to rock. The singer has openly discussed managing Lupus and a rare lymphoproliferative disorder in recent years.
