Sam Claflin, Bill Nighy, and Alexandra Roach will star in the captivating limited series, 'Lazarus.' The team behind Netflix's smash hit 'Fool Me Once' is reuniting for a brand-new series, this time under a different streamer's banner. Amazon's Prime Video has commissioned 'Lazarus,' a limited series penned by the esteemed duo of Harlan Coben and Danny Brocklehurst.

The drama centers on Sam Claflin, portraying a forensic psychologist who returns home following his father's tragic suicide. There, he becomes entangled in a web of cold case murders, leading him to unearth secrets and truths about his past. Bill Nighy steals the show as the late father, a character whose shadow looms large over the narrative, while Alexandra Roach shines as Claflin's sister, a woman with her own set of challenges and secrets.

'Lazarus' is born from an original concept by the best-selling author Coben and Brocklehurst, who are collaborating on the script. This marks Coben's second project for Prime Video, following the critically-acclaimed but ultimately short-lived 'Shelter' last year.

"Lazarus is a thriller that hooks you from the very first moment," said Heather Curtis, the current series executive for pan-English scripted SVOD TV at Amazon MGM Studios. "We're thrilled to reunite with Harlan, Danny, Quay Street, and the star-studded cast of Sam Claflin, Bill Nighy, and Alexandra Roach to bring this compelling story to our global Prime Video audience."

Coben added, "Do I even need to mention the names Sam Claflin, Bill Nighy, and Alexandra Roach to express my excitement for this limited series? 'Lazarus' is a tale of loss, redemption, and the indelible bond between a parent and child, even in the afterlife. It's always a thrill to reunite with Danny Brocklehurst and Quay Street Productions on another project."

In addition to 'Fool Me Once' - which has solidified its place as one of Netflix's top 10 English-language series of all time since its premiere in January - Coben and Brocklehurst have previously collaborated on 'Stay Close' and 'The Stranger' for the streaming giant. They will executive produce 'Lazarus' alongside Claflin, Nicola Shindler and Richard Fee of Quay Street Productions, and Wayne Che Yip, who will helm the first two episodes. Matt Stevens serves as producer.

Quay Street Productions and Amazon MGM Studios are bringing 'Lazarus' to life, with Coben's Final Twist Productions also lending their expertise to the project.
