Ron Weasley is a dad once again! Rupert Grint, the beloved star of the Harry Potter series, and his partner Georgia Groome have joyfully welcomed their second bundle of joy, another adorable daughter, into their lives. On April 27th, the 36-year-old actor made the delightful announcement by sharing a snapshot of the newborn on his Instagram page. Captioning the photo, Rupert wrote, "Secret Child Slightly Revealed: Introducing Goldie G. Grint, a 10/10 baby (so far)!" Alongside the heartwarming image of Goldie, dressed in a white onesie with her name expertly embroidered beneath a cozy knit gray cardigan, Rupert added, "Shout out to @alex.digesu for always delivering," paying tribute to the OBGYN who assisted in the arrival of his little one.

Prior to posting the picture, Rupert and Georgia were photographed in London, cradling their new infant with beaming smiles. Neither had publicly hinted at the arrival of their second child before this. Rupert and Georgia are also proud parents to Wednesday G. Grint, born in 2020. Rupert had announced her birth months later, in November of that year, marking his debut Instagram post, which set a Guinness World Record by amassing one million followers in an astonishing four hours and one minute.

While Rupert has maintained a veil of privacy around his family life, he has occasionally offered glimpses into his journey as a father. During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2022, he admitted to loving fatherhood and revealed the inspiration behind Wednesday's name. With a touch of hesitation, he quipped, "I'm always hesitant to say it was inspired by The Addams Family, but, it was." He also shed light on the reasoning behind her middle initial, sharing, "We loved the idea of an initial, like Samuel L. Jackson, Michael J. Fox."

Rupert further opened up about slowly introducing Wednesday to the Harry Potter franchise, saying, "Now you have this beautiful baby and one day you're gonna show her these movies and say, ‘That's daddy!'" Jimmy Fallon responded by pointing this out, to which Rupert chuckled, "I've already started showing her the trailers. She has a wand and a PEZ dispenser with my head on it." The British actor also recounted how his daughter inadvertently picked up a curse word while accompanying him in his dressing room as he rehearsed scripts for The Servant series, where his character Julian Pearce frequently swore. "She says ‘dada’ and ‘mama’, and pretty soon after, the F-word came pretty quick," he laughed. "Now she just says it whenever she's excited. We were in the toy store today, and she was dropping it left and right."

In 2023, after wrapping up filming for an Apple TV+ show in Pennsylvania and returning to England, Rupert spoke about how the move was impacting Wednesday. "She's finding it a bit of a challenge to adjust to UK life," he shared on The Tonight Show. "She spent most of her time in America, so she's missing out on some cultural things." He added with a smile, "She's a big fan of Philly. She loves hoagies, water ice treats, and above all, Target. She's obsessed with Target." Continuing, he said, "She'd choose a trip to Target over going to the park or the zoo any day."
