Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are making their love official in the most grandiose fashion—on land, at sea, in the sky—and at 1587 Prime. Following the Kansas City Chiefs' dominant 31-0 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders on October 19, the "Fate of Ophelia" singer joined the tight end, his teammates, and members of the Chiefs training staff for a post-game celebration at Travis and Patrick Mahomes' Kansas City steakhouse. In a photo shared by Joann Jordan—wife of Chiefs trainer Rob Jordan—on Instagram October 19, Travis and Taylor were in good company with the aforementioned couple and Chiefs' marketing manager Atipa Mabonga at a table in Travis' new restaurant.
Travis, beaming with joy in the selfie, donned a sleek powdered blue polo, while Taylor smized for the camera, adorned in Chiefs' red and gold jewelry. The outing came after Taylor was joined by her dad Scott Swift at Arrowhead Stadium to pledge her loyalty to Travis' team yet again. In photos shared to social media, the father-daughter duo were locked into the action, with Scott sporting a hat from Travis' new American Eagle line.
While Taylor has been more subtle with her support of her man on the Chiefs this football season—making very discreet appearances in suites at his games—she has never been more upfront with how in love she is with her fiancé, to whom she announced her engagement in August. Indeed, Taylor recently detailed the moments leading up to Travis' proposal following the taping of her appearance on New Heights earlier that same month. "I think for Travis, the podcast was just a distraction sort of ruse to keep me not looking out the windows of the house," Taylor explained during her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon October 6. "There were blackout drapes on every single window of the whole house. I was like, 'He is so serious about this and I really appreciate that.'"
However, Taylor quickly realized that her appearance on Travis' podcast alongside his brother Jason Kelce was just one domino that had to cascade in a line for her happily ever after. "Afterward, I realized he's walking around nervous about the podcast," Taylor recalled. "I've never seen this dude nervous." When Travis suggested having a glass of wine in the backyard of his Kansas City home, Taylor saw his proposal set up, and the sky has been opalite ever since. As she gushed, "It was the best possible case scenario."
