Travis Kelce found himself captivated by Taylor Swift's allure. In fact, the "Opalite" singer played a pivotal role in inspiring the NFL player to remain with the Kansas City Chiefs for a 14th season, despite his previous hints of retirement. "We share a profound love for what we do," Travis shared on The Pat McAfee Show on March 10. "Fortunately, we've had this desire since we were kids in our respective professions."

Watching Taylor's relentless work ethic in her daily life further strengthened Travis's resolve. "It's just amazing to see her consistently putting in the effort," the 36-year-old raved. "She keeps finding new topics to write about, new melodies to create, and on top of that, she still has that love and joy in what she does."

As the tight end explained, seeing his fiancée's dedication was incredibly "motivating," especially as she was able to witness firsthand what he was "going through" as he was "trying to figure out exactly what the future holds." "Something like that definitely motivates me to say, 'You know what, I'm not done either. I still have some ideas in the back of my mind. I still have some juice left to play this game,'" Travis added. "So without a doubt."

Moreover, Taylor, also 36, might have influenced Travis in another way as host Pat McAfee pointed out that Travis had mentioned running into the Chiefs' offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, which had them wondering if Travis would be returning.

"The thing is, once I started dating Taylor, I started understanding what Easter eggs were," Travis joked. "You start kind of just placing those things all over the planet and everybody starts to catch on."

Although the Super Bowl champ did admit that his comment about Eric was a bit of an accident, the final decision to stay with the team was actually "short and brief," according to Travis. He added, "The Chiefs knew where I was the entire time on it."

"You always need to take a step back on it," he continued. "Breathe, let the emotions of the season settle down and see where the body is, and things like that. But man, I'm still in love with this game. I'm still in love with going to work, putting on the pads, grinding it out and playing the game."
