How Zoë Kravitz's Stylist Created a Look to Distract From Harry Styles Engagement Ring

Zoë Kravitz sought to avoid the late-night chatter that often follows the 2026 Met Gala. Consequently, Jessica McCormack, who was responsible for adorning the Big Little Lies star with her jewelry for the evening, was tasked with ensuring that Zoë's new engagement ring from Harry Styles was well-concealed during the festivities. Jessica accomplished this by dressing Zoë in "Cry Baby pieces," she revealed to Vogue, including asymmetric earrings dripping with large diamonds and a cocktail ring on her right hand. Her left hand, however, remained hidden within her dress as she walked the carpet.

As for the rest of the 37-year-old's ensemble, Zoë opted for a black Saint Laurent dress by Anthony Vaccarello and black Romy slingback pumps from Louis Vuitton.

This insight into Zoë's deliberate fashion choices comes amidst speculation that she and Harry, 32, who chose not to attend the fundraiser at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, had quietly gotten engaged. While neither party has addressed the speculation directly, the Divergent alum was spotted wearing a sizable diamond on her wedding ring finger last month, and has recently been seen with the same rock.

However, it's unlikely that Harry will address rumors of a marriage proposal. After all, the "Watermelon Sugar" singer is notoriously private about his love life. "I've never talked about my life away from work publicly," Harry told Rolling Stone in 2022, previously dating Taylor Swift, Olivia Wilde, and Taylor Russell. "And I found that it's benefited me positively."

He continued, "There's always going to be a version of a narrative, and I think I just decided I wasn't going to spend the time trying to correct it or redirect it in some way." In fact, he pushed back against the idea that he's "publicly been with anyone." "When I'm working, I work really hard, and I think I'm really professional. Then when I'm not, I'm not," he explained. "If someone takes a picture of you with someone, it doesn't mean you're choosing to have a public relationship or something."
