In a press release dated June 13th, the South Kingstown Police Department revealed that the state medical examiner's office had identified the deceased as 31-year-old Eric Wein of Massachusetts. Authorities noted that Wein had been reported missing on April 18th, following the discovery of his vehicle in South Kingstown on April 10th.
The tragic find occurred on the morning of May 14th in Westerly, a coastal town situated less than a mile from Swift's seaside retreat.
