At the age of 24, Instagram influencer Gabbie Gonzalez was arrested on Monday, charged with conspiracy to commit a crime in Los Angeles County, as reported by TMZ. With her lifestyle content attracting nearly half a million followers on Instagram, Gonzalez was apprehended in Northern California before being transferred to a Los Angeles County jail, where she was booked. According to TMZ, Gabbie would face arraignment on Tuesday in L.A. County for conspiracy to commit murder. It further revealed that her father, Francisco Gonzalez, was also arrested on the same charges in Florida on Monday.

The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department stated that the reason for Gabbie’s arrest was a custody dispute with Jack regarding their 7-year-old daughter, Lavender. One of the witnesses reported Francisco saying that it would be easier if Jack were dead.
Gabbie is known for her relationship with Jack Avery, a member of the band Why Don’t We. The couple dated from 2018 until they had a baby in 2019, but after their breakup, they remained in a joint parenting arrangement. In 2022, Gonzalez announced her engagement to Cody Clayburn, whom she later married. However, the marriage ended in divorce in 2024.
The entire situation is not only a legal battle but also a heart-wrenching drama involving family ties and the welfare of a young child. The aftermath of this arrest will undoubtedly have far-reaching consequences for all involved.
