"68 days until I marry my beloved! My soulmate, my angel, my everything! I am absolutely obsessed with him! He is my essence, and I am his! I yearn to merge with him, body and soul!" she had captioned the post, filled with love and excitement.

Hannah's dear friend, Nathalie "Nat" Berard, initiated a GoFundMe campaign to lend support to Hannah and Ian's family.

"It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ian de Metz, the adored fiancé of Hannah Carnat-Gronnerud, a cherished son, brother, family member, and friend. Ian's sudden and tragic departure in a workplace accident has created an immense emptiness in the lives of all who knew and loved him," she penned.

"As Hannah, her family, and Ian's family grapple with this unimaginable loss, we rally around them, offering our love and support during this incredibly challenging period," she continued.

Nathalie explained that the fundraiser aimed to "assist" Hannah and her family with the "numerous unforeseen expenses" that accompany the loss of a loved one, including "funeral costs, time off work, travel expenses, and the emotional strain of rebuilding their lives day by day."

Elsewhere in the GoFundMe note, Nathalie paid tribute to Ian's character.

"Ian was renowned for his warmth, kindness, and generous spirit. He illuminated every space he entered and left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. Now, it is our turn to shoulder some of the burden for Hannah and her family, just as Ian would have done for any of us," she wrote.

Hannah, an influencer celebrated for promoting body positivity, embracing self-confidence, and inspiring others to fall in love with themselves, boasts over 100,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok. Ian frequently featured in Hannah's content, with their last Instagram video together, posted on July 9th, capturing a tender kiss between the two.
