Kelly, a pediatric nurse practitioner who has been running her parenting blog for several years, shared that her young son had wandered behind the car as she and her daughter were pulling out of the driveway, en route to a dance performance. "I was driving," Kelly wrote. "Our neighbors stepped in immediately and took Lily, and we rushed to the emergency room."
Emphasizing how she was navigating a "true nightmare for parents," she shared that her son's injuries were less severe than she feared, with no major internal injuries or head trauma. While she is "so incredibly grateful" that her son's injuries aren't long-term, the influencer said, "We are in shock. We are so sad."
