Colleen Hoover, the talented author and producer behind "It Ends with Us" and "Regretting You," has courageously revealed that she has been undergoing treatment for cancer. In an emotional post shared on social media, Hoover announced that she had just one day of radiation left in her cancer treatment journey. "Second to last day of radiation," she wrote in an Instagram Story, adding, "I wish I could attribute my hair and facial expressions to @Texas.Oncology, but they've been fantastic. I hope you never need them, but I highly recommend them."

The author first opened up about her cancer diagnosis in December on Facebook, though she didn't specify the type of cancer she was battling. She also mentioned that she would be undergoing radiation but not chemotherapy.

Hoover had hinted at health setbacks that would prevent her from promoting "Regretting You" or moderating a signing for Lukas Gage. "I'm super bummed, but I'm having an unavoidable surgery and can't travel for a while," she wrote in an October Instagram post. She added that she was "so sad to miss this movie release and premiere, but so grateful to all the actors and the team who put this together."

In a recent Facebook post, Hoover revealed that she had been filming "Reminds of Him" in Canada when she noticed recurring health issues that she kept putting off until the movie was finished. "When I returned home, I found out I had cancer," she wrote, adding that the cancer had been removed through surgery and that she would be undergoing radiation.

"While it felt huge and scary for a bit, and I had to miss out on the 'Regretting You' premiere and some other important career and personal moments, I just wasn't ready to share with anyone until I knew what the outcome would be," she concluded.

Hoover's next book release, "Woman Down," is set for January 13th, but the author noted in her post that she hadn't set up a tour yet, telling fans, "I wanted to make this post and be transparent about why that is." She added, "I'm not saying I won't be up to doing at least one signing, but I just won't know until I know."

Despite everything, Hoover said she was okay and "relieved and lucky that it was a comparatively quick experience." She urged her fans to "listen to your body" when they feel something is off.
