Jaime King is undergoing a divorce from her second husband, Austin Sosa. The banker filed for divorce from the Hart of Dixie alum, 46, on Thursday, Jan. 22, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. TMZ was the first to break the news.
PEOPLE reached out to King's representative for comment. However, it remains unclear when Sosa and King actually tied the knot. In July 2025, PEOPLE previously reported that the couple were engaged. King's rep later confirmed the news to PEOPLE, stating that the actress was "grateful" for the support from fans.
King was "especially thrilled to share this moment with her children, who have a loving bond with Austin and his family," her rep said at the time. "As always, her sons remain her top priority, and she kindly requests privacy as they move forward together with love and gratitude."
A source told PEOPLE in July 2025 that King is very close with Sosa's family and was staying with his parents after she moved out of her Los Angeles apartment earlier this year.
King is a mother to sons Leo, 10, and James, 12, whom she shares with her ex-husband Kyle Newman. In September, she briefly mentioned her engagement on an episode of Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald, stating that she and Sosa "met through mutual friends."
King and Newman, 47, tied the knot in 2007. She filed for divorce from Newman in May 2020 and their divorce was finalized in September 2023. Newman was granted sole physical custody of their sons in March 2025. A judge ordered that while Newman and King would share legal custody of their sons, Newman was granted the tie-breaking authority over legal custody and would have sole physical custody of their kids, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.
