"Your Friends & Neighbors," the hit series starring Olivia Munn and Jon Hamm, has welcomed a new face to its ensemble for its eagerly anticipated second season. The casting announcement made via X (formerly known as Twitter) sent waves of excitement among the show's die-hard fans. One enthusiastically remarked, "James and Jon? Could it get any better?" Another fan, commenting on Hamm's character Andrew "Coop" Cooper, a neighborhood thief, quipped, "This show is hilarious…I hope he's bringing his stealing skills with him, lol!" Meanwhile, a third fan posted an animated GIF from the Sonic cartoon exclaiming "Woo Hoo!" in delight, as the voice behind Sonic the Hedgehog joined the project.

Currently in production, "Your Friends & Neighbors" received a season renewal back in November. However, the production company has kept the details of Marsden's character shrouded in mystery. The season one ensemble was a stellar line-up, featuring Munn, Hamm, Aimee Carrero, Amanda Peet, Donovan Colan, Eunice Bae, Hoon Lee, Iabel Gravitt, Lena Hall, and Mark Tallman. To date, Marsden, known for his role in "Enchanted," is the only confirmed addition to the second season's cast, with no other new names revealed as yet.

The 51-year-old actor steps into this latest role fresh from his stint in Hulu's "Paradise," where he starred alongside Sterling K. Brown. Marsden's recent credits are a testament to his versatility, including roles in "Dead to Me," "Knox Goes Away," and "Sonic The Hedgehog 3."
