Jamie Foxx's journey towards becoming an empty nester is still on hold as his girlfriend, Alyce Huckstepp, is pregnant with their first child together, and Jamie's third. E! News confirmed the news on May 12th, adding a new milestone to their love story that began over a year ago in April 2025, following a brief breakup in January. Prior to their separation, Jamie and Alyce had confirmed their romance in August 2023.
Despite keeping their relationship relatively private, with their first public appearance together at the premiere of Jamie's Netflix movie "Day Shift" in 2022, it's no surprise that they're expanding their love. Jamie, who is also a father to daughters Corinne, 32, from his ex-partner Connie Klein, and Anaelise, 17, from his former relationship with Kristin Grannis, has been vocal about the importance of being a father in his life.
In 2023, Jamie suffered a brain bleed that led to a life-threatening stroke, which further highlighted the significance of life for him. "You know how you take a picture on your cell phone and you hit that first filter that brightens it up?" Jamie explained to E! News at the Golden Globes in 2025. "That's how life looks now. Everything is altered."
The 58-year-old actor admitted that his near-death experience made him live by the "cliche" motto of "living life like it's your last." "I appreciate these moments more," he reflected, adding that his two daughters, "kept me alive, Corinne Marie and Anelise. And I'm just blessed because it was over."
Speaking about the same experience a few months later, Jamie praised his daughters for their courage and strength during his health battle, particularly his older daughter Corinne, who tied the knot with Joe Hooten in 2024. "She wouldn't let anybody see me," he told Us Weekly at the time. "Shout-out to my daughter Corinne Marie Foxx, who took care of me and made sure I was protected."
