Jared Padalecki has been confirmed by Variety to join the fiery lineup of CBS's highly anticipated third season of "Fire Country," where he'll ignite screens in a recurring role spanning three sizzling episodes. Taking on the persona of Camden, Padalecki embodies a SoCal firefighter par excellence—a renegade with a surfer's charm who commands respect and instantly recognizes Bode's (Max Thieriot) untamed potential.

This gig solidifies Padalecki's enduring partnership with CBS Studios, the same creative force behind his previous lead and executive producer stints in "Walker" and its prequel "Walker: Independence," both of which charmed audiences at The CW for multiple seasons.

Undoubtedly, Padalecki's iconic status stems from his groundbreaking portrayal in "Supernatural," the groundbreaking CW/WB series that ran for an unprecedented 15 seasons, side by side with Jensen Ackles. Rumors of a potential reunion with Ackles and series creator Eric Kripke in Amazon's hit "The Boys" have fueled fan fantasies, as Kripke serves as showrunner and Ackles stars as Soldier Boy.

Padalecki, adeptly represented by UTA, Industry Entertainment, and Fuller Law, seamlessly transitions into his new "Fire Country" role, a show that premiered on CBS in 2022 and swiftly emerged as a ratings juggernaut. With a spinoff, "Sheriff Country," starring Morena Baccarin already greenlit, Padalecki's compelling arc in Season 3 could potentially pave the way for his own standalone adventure, though negotiations are currently in the embryonic stages. CBS and CBS Studios have kept lips sealed on the prospects of another spinoff for now.

Marking its triumphant return on October 18, "Fire Country" boasts a star-studded cast including Thieriot, Billy Burke, Kevin Alejandro, Diane Farr, Stephanie Arcila, Jordan Calloway, and Jules Latimer. Co-created by Thieriot alongside Tony Phelan and Joan Rater, the series is helmed by executive producers including Thieriot, Phelan, Rater, showrunner Tia Napolitano, and Jerry Bruckheimer Television's Jerry Bruckheimer and KristieAnne Reed.

News of Padalecki's casting was initially exclusively reported by Deadline, adding yet another layer of excitement to the smoldering anticipation surrounding "Fire Country's" third season.
