Jason Momoa's latest transformation sees him take the Iron Throne with a daring new look for his Chime holiday campaign. The Game of Thrones alum debuted a bold bald hairstyle, making him unrecognizable in the updated 'do. In the "Bank Smarter This Season" ad, Jason plays multiple characters as he narrates the chaos of gift-giving. He's a bed salesman with long copper hair on the sides and a shaved head on top, complete with wire-framed glasses and a wool gray suit holding a clipboard in a mattress store.
Elsewhere in the commercial, Jason rocks a mullet to portray a security officer and dons an all-pink getup with pearl-adorned spectacles to play a store cashier. For the Aquaman star, dressing up as various characters was part of the fun of teaming up with Chime.
"We had a blast creating the different characters and bringing the energy of the holidays to life," Jason said in a press release on October 23. "At its core, the campaign reflects Chime's mission to have financial tools work harder for people, and capturing that spirit on screen was a thrill."
And the Chief of War actor hinted that this won't be the last time he goes above and beyond with the bank, adding, "I'm excited to see what we create together next."
Jason isn't a stranger to switching up his appearance. Back in July, the actor turned heads when he shaved off his beard for the first time in six years to reprise his role of Duncan Idaho in the third installment of the Dune movie franchise. However, Jason wasn't exactly a fan of that look. "Goddammit," he quipped in an Instagram video of him buzzing off his facial hair at the time. "I hate it."
Luckily, Jason joked that he'd do anything for the action franchise's director Denis Villeneuve, telling him in the clip, "Only for you."
