Bunnie Xo is candidly revealing the nitty-gritty of her recovery journey. A mere week after going through the "Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic" experience, which included a facelift, she shared the side effects that are a part of her healing process.
In an Instagram video posted on March 23, Bunnie, now on day 6 of her recovery, captioned, "Cabin fever sets in, '00s movies have been my constant companion, walking without getting winded is a challenge, and I'm stuck in a recliner, feeling like I'm being choked from ear to ear."

The 46-year-old further added, "Everyone keeps assuring me that day 7 is the best day, but that's tomorrow, and I've lost all faith in humanity."
In the video, Bunnie, who tied the knot with country singer Jelly Roll in 2016, showed off bruises under her eyes before dancing around her kitchen as her friends tried to persuade her to sit down. In the comments section, the Dumb Blonde podcast host (real name Alissa DeFord) emphasized her pain, writing, "I know, I did this to myself, but damn."
Bunnie has been vocal about her past cosmetic procedures, including breast augmentation, rhinoplasty, and fillers. Recently, she shed light on why she went under the knife again. "For everyone asking why I decided to do a facelift, old filler was one of the main reasons," she wrote on Instagram on March 18. "I stopped getting filler over 3 years ago in my face (except for my lips), had it dissolved multiple times in my cheeks, and it was still in my face."
She continued, "It would itch, cause swelling in my cheeks, and continue to migrate to other places. Please take it from me, filler doesn't dissolve in your body like we are told. So, with this lift, we were able to take out a ton of it thanks to Dr. [Daniel] Gould's skilled hands!"
Dr. Gould also shared why Bunnie was interested in receiving the plastic surgery. "She wanted to improve that slight heaviness and laxity in the neck," he explained in an Instagram video on March 16. "Improve slightly the position of the cheek, add a little bit of volume back where she's lost it before, clean up a little bit of the skin in the upper eyelids and address the temples and the mid-face."
Despite some bruising following the procedure, Dr. Gould emphasized that Bunnie is "healing nicely." "She's a really sweet, super kind, and thoughtful patient," he added. "I'm thankful that she's allowing me to share all this."
