In a playful yet pointed TikTok video posted on Monday, October 27th, Jen Affleck, 25, appeared to respond to comments made by a former Dancing with the Stars pro about her current dance partner, Jan Ravnik. The clip showed Affleck typing on her phone, mimicking the act of deleting a comment, between rehearsals with Ravnik, 30.

"Take it down. Take it down. We need it gone. That doesn't represent me or what we need to be doing," Ravnik lip-synced while wearing a K95 mask. The text on the video read, "Me when anyone talks trash about Jan." Affleck captioned the video, "We don't tolerate Jan slander in this house! @Jan Ravnik @Dancing with the Stars #DWTS," adding to the drama surrounding her and Ravnik's relationship.
The video followed a previous episode of the show where former Dancing with the Stars pro Maks Chmerkovskiy, 45, criticized Ravnik during an episode of his wife Peta Murgatroyd's podcast, The Penthouse with Peta. Murgatroyd, 39, had been supportive of Ravnik's performance but Chmerkovskiy was not impressed.
"He's learning. He's learning slowly. It's his first season," Murgatroyd said of Ravnik. "We have to give him grace for not understanding foxtrot technique. It's very hard to watch."
Chmerkovskiy disagreed, saying, "No, we do not have to give him grace. Are you kidding me?" He then praised his wife for her "skill" in giving Ravnik grace in her review but shared his candid opinion. "I'm sorry, Jan has absolutely no business being a pro on Dancing with the Stars. There's zero foundation, technique, quality, understanding of the partnership," he said. "Bro, I'm getting emotional. It is absurd."
Despite his critiques, Chmerkovskiy stated he had nothing "against [Ravnik] whatsoever" but called his casting on the show a "missed opportunity." Dancing with the Stars airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
