Jenelle Evans' eldest son, Jace Evans, a former star of Teen Mom 2, was reportedly admitted to a mental health hospital. TMZ reported on March 9 that "Jace is now receiving treatment at a mental health facility after a troubling incident late last month." According to the outlet, someone called 911 to report a disturbed teenager at his grandmother, Barbara Evans' home on February 22. Upon arrival, the officers determined that the situation required "further action."

The reason for the call and the length of Jace's stay in the hospital remain unclear. This news comes after years of turmoil over custody of the teenager. Barbara has raised Jace, who Jenelle, 34, shares with ex-partner Andrew Lewis, since he was an infant. She has battled her daughter in court for more than a decade to maintain custody. In March 2023, the 16 & Pregnant alum regained full custody of Jace. However, after multiple attempts to run away from his mother's house, Jace returned to live with his grandmother.

A representative for Jenelle told TMZ, "At this time, we have no comment on the matter. We're unable to discuss this issue because it involves confidential personal matters." Jenelle, who also shares son Kaiser, 11, with ex Nathan Griffith and daughter Ensley, 9, with ex-husband David Eason, reacted to the news via X on Monday night. "Yeah, that's no one's business to begin with," she wrote in reply to a post featuring TMZ's story.
